What a wonderful thing for the hand of the Lord to be with us!
In Acts 11:21, we read: “And the hand of the Lord was with them, and a large number who believed turned to the Lord.
There are so many references to the hand of the Lord. Here are just a few from the Book of Psalms-
Psalm 9:16
“The LORD has made Himself known; He has executed judgment. In the work of his own hands the wicked is snared. Higgaion Selah.”
Psalm 20:6
“Now I know that the LORD saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven With the saving strength of His right hand.”
“And let them know that this is Your hand; You, LORD, have done it.”
“The right hand of the LORD is exalted; The right hand of the LORD does valiantly.”
Psalm 92:4
“For You, O LORD, have made me glad by what You have done, I will sing for joy at the works of Your hands.” (Emphasis added.)
There is also this warning:
“Requite them according to their work and according to the evil of their practices;
Requite them according to the deeds of their hands;
Repay them their recompense.
Because they do not regard the works of the LORD
Nor the deeds of His hands,
He will tear them down and not build them up.” Psalm 28:4-6.
