21 “But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.” John 3:19-21.
The last phrase “wrought in God”, reminds me of Ephesians 2:10: “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”
Not only is it true that the works of Christians are “wrought in God”, a Christian “comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God”.
In other words, a Christian likes to show off his works as coming from God to give glory to God. “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
Psalm 138:8
“The LORD will accomplish what concerns me; Your lovingkindness, O LORD, is everlasting; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.”
Isaiah 60:21
“Then all your people will be righteous; They will possess the land forever, The branch of My planting, The work of My hands, That I may be glorified.”
