 ³  And there appeared to them tongues as of fire distributing themselves, and they rested on each one of them.

 ⁴  And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit was giving them utterance.

 ⁵  Now there were Jews living in Jerusalem, devout men from every nation under heaven.

 ⁶  And when this sound occurred, the crowd came together, and were bewildered because each one of them was hearing them speak in his own language.

 ⁷  They were amazed and astonished, saying, “Why, are not all these who are speaking Galileans?

 ⁸  “And how is it that we each hear them in our own language to which we were born?

 ⁹  “Parthians and Medes and Elamites, and residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,

 ¹⁰  Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the districts of Libya around Cyrene, and visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes,

 ¹¹  Cretans and Arabs–we hear them in our own tongues speaking of the mighty deeds of God.”  Acts 2:1-11.

“¹  Praise the LORD!
         Praise God in His sanctuary;
         Praise Him in His mighty expanse.
    ²  Praise Him for His mighty deeds;
         Praise Him according to His excellent greatness.
    ³  Praise Him with trumpet sound;
         Praise Him with harp and lyre.
    ⁴  Praise Him with timbrel and dancing;
         Praise Him with stringed instruments and pipe.
    ⁵  Praise Him with loud cymbals;
         Praise Him with resounding cymbals.
    ⁶  Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.
         Praise the LORD!”  Psalm Chapter 159.

As interesting as it may be to marvel at the signs and wonder, let us not forget to speak of the mighty deeds of God and praise Him! 

“But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth;  for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak;  and He will disclose to you what is to come.  “He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you.”  John 16:13-14. 

The Holy Spirit guides us into all the truth, discloses to us the mighty deeds of God, and empowers us to glorify God and praise God and boldly speak about these mighty deeds of God.
